![]() I had never thought that I would experience an active volcano, and see how the lava flows down the side of the volcano, how the volcano erupts every few minutes, and the amazing sunrise that appeared behind it. It was one of the craziest experiences I have ever had, and will be for a long time. However what is happening at the moment, is absolutely spectacular to witness in person. To be honest, had the volcano not been active, it would never have made it onto the list. In this post I will list some of my favorite places in all of Iceland. The Li River in Guilin is like an artists masterpiece, bounded by classic sheer karst hills, which have inspired many poets and ink painters. One of the best places to visit in Iceland is the Vatnajokull glacier, the largest glacier in Europe.
